Xiaomi is going to launch Xiaomi MI 10 5G on May 8 via a online launch event in India,this will be the xiaomi's first true flagship phone in India.As people prefer Xiaomi devices as budget or mid-range but it is excited to see a complete new approach from the company by introducing premium flagship device. Xiaomi was going to launch MI 10 on March 31 but due to global pandemic they delayed the launch event now as per order from government that online Shopping sites such as Amazon ,Flipkart,Snapdeal etc can deliver non-essential items in Green or orange zones, so xiaomi finally decided to launch the device and unveils the pricing.MI 10 has been already launched in china in february and they also launched MI 10 series globally during the month of march, but it is cleared from the social handles of Xiaomi that they are going to launch only MI 10 not the Pro version.
SPECIFICATIONS OF MI 10 :-
As we know it will feature a 6.67 inch FullHD+ Amoled display with 90 Hz refresh rate and 1080 x 2340 resolution, the display will be curved at the edges with glass sandwich design which will give a premium look to the phone.it will HDR 10 certified for HDR content which is really good for watching content on Netflix and Youtube. Under the hood there will be Snapdragon 865 5G octa-core processor with adreno 650 GPU and 8 GB of GDDR5 ram with 128/256 GB of UFS 3.0 Storage, so in terms of performance this device is unbeatable. It will be strong competitor for OnePlus 8 in terms of raw performance but as we know Oneplus runs on Oxygen OS which is well optimized and light in compare to MIUI on MI 10.
In terms of optics you can expect flagship level photos and videos as it is equipped with 108 MP massive sony sensor which is also present in Samsung S20 ultra, as the sensor is big in size we can expect great photo and video quality from this device. MI 10 pro scores 124 in DxO mark which put this device against the top camera phones of 2020, along with that there is 13 MP Ultra-wide camera, 2MP marco and 2MP depth sensor.In front it features a 20 MP punch hole camera with 120 fps slow-mo which is similar to Slofie feature on iPhone 11 series. To power all this there is a massive 4780 mAh battery with 30 Watt wired fast charging and 30 Watt wireless fast charging.
In terms of software it will run on MIUI 11( Xiaomi custom skin) on top of Android 10, and most interestingly there will be no adds or recommendations on this device because it belongs to Tier 1 series of Xiaomi's Smartphone.It will be available only in two colors Twilight Grey and Coral Green.
PRICING AND AVAILABILITY :-
MI 10 pro was launched at 3999 CNY for the base variant in China ( approx 42,500 INR ) but as we know due to increase in GST taxes on Smartphones , high import duties and depreciating Rupee-Dollar value this device will cost significantly higher than Chinese pricing, According to track record of Xiaomi they provide best specifications at best possible price, we can expect this device between 45k-50k price segment.We will update the pricing on may 8 after xiaomi unveil it on launch event.
