Here is everything you need to know about Xbox Series X gaming console. Xbox is a leading gaming console brand that makes and sells gaming consoles(electronic devices for playing computerized video games) all around the world. It also develops streaming systems, games. Its owner is Microsoft.

Xbox has been launching gaming consoles since 2001. Gaming consoles launched by Xbox till now are -

And now Xbox is on its way to drop its fourth generation gaming consoles-

Xbox Series X gaming console is getting launched in November 2020 along with Xbox has decided to launch a possible substitute Xbox Series S at a lower price. 

If we talk about there specs Xbox Series X is surely more powerful than Series S. 

  • Series X console will provide 4k resolution while Series S will provide a resolution greater than 2k but not 4k.
  • The CPU of Series X will run at 3.8GHz per core while the CPU of Series S will run at 3.6GHz . 
  • In case of Graphics processing too Series X is ahead Series S. 
  •  Both will support Ray Tracing. 
  • Series X will contain 1TB internal SSD whereas Series S will contain SSD of 512 GB to do justice with its cost. 
  • Both will support expansion card to accommodate large games. 
  • RAM of Series X will be of 16GB while that of Series S be 10Gb.
  • Series X is black and is made to stand vertically while Series S looks rather good horizontally and is white in colour. 
  • Series X will be available at ₹49,990
  • Series S will be available at ₹34,990

Xbox Series X VS PS5

PS5 the new gaming console by Sony is also getting launched in November 2020 

Both these brands are going to complete with each other again like they did last time when ps4 and Xbox One were released around same month. So its important to choose wisely if you are going to buy one of them.

In specs we will say Xbox Series X is the winner but if we talk about virtual reality we will give it to PS5 as it is fully compatible with PlayStation VR headset. While on the other side Xbox has does not provide us Xbox Series X VR headset. 


CONTROLLER

  •  If we talk about controllers we will say PS5 has successfully developed next Gen controller. PS5 has made remarkable advancement in their controller while Xbox's Series X controller has less advancement, its much similar to the previous Xbox controller.  
  • There is no official announcement made by Sony on the compatibility of their dual sense controller while Xbox Series X controller is totally compatible. 
  • Sony has added new features like built in mic but other advancement require developer buy-in.

 

Xbox surely has a good future in gaming consoles. the head of the Xbox phill spencer said that "they are absolutely planning for more console hardware in future, regardless of growth in cloud computing". Xbox can be the future of gaming console. He added "We’re about putting the player at the center. It’s not about the device in the middle anymore"
