There have been many rumors about the leaked specifications of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Watch 3. In this article, I have got the spec sheet of upcoming Samsung smartwatch. According to report by SamMobile, the South Korean tech giant's Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 is coming with two different dials i.e. 41mm and 45 mm.
The smartwatch with 41mm variant will feature a 1.2-inch display while the 45mm version will have a 1.4-inch display. The two models will reportedly measure 41x42.5x11.3mm and 45x46.2x11.1mm, respectively.
Key Specs and features(Expected):
- It will have two inbuilt variants i.e. of LTE and Non-LTE (Wi-Fi) mode along with GPS connectivity.
- It will have a build quality of both Titanium and Stainless Steel.
- It will have a pack of 8GB internal storage and 1GB RAM.
- It will have IP68 or 5ATM water resistance i.e. it can go 50 meter of depth upto 10 minutes.
- Smartwatch with 41mm dial will pack 247mAh and one with 45mm dial will have 340mAh battery.
- The physical rotating bezel is making a return, following its absence on the Galaxy Watch Active and Galaxy Watch Active 2 last year.
- Smartwatch displays will be covered by the Corning's Gorilla Glass DX.
- Displays will be 0.1 inches bigger than the screens on the Galaxy Watch despite smaller overall dimensions of the Watch 3
- Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 will have an operating system of Tizen OS 5.5 out of the box.
New feature of Watch3 - ECG and blood pressure monitoring
No smartwatch is complete without without health sensors. The Galaxy Watch 3 is going to have pretty similar features to that of Galaxy Watch Active 2.
- It will have a heart rate monitoring system with 8 pulse-reading photodiodes.
- It will have a blood pressure monitoring sensor.
- It will have a electrocardiogram (ECG) sensor and this will help you to monitor your heart functioning. There is a point to Note that it is not clear that whether the ECG functionality will be available globally at launch. This is because ECG feature enable smartwatch will need to get an approval from the countries before hitting its retail stores. Hope, company will get the approvals for that.
On the part of smartwatch pricing, it is still not clear. And it is speculated that it's pricing will be near or around to that of Samsung Galaxy Active 2 and its released date is slated for sometime in July, 2020.We don't have any rumors for exact date of launch, so it could be any time within the month.
