OnePlus will launch it upcoming OnePlus 8 Series on 14th April 2020. The company is expected to unveil two smartphones, OnePlus 8 & OnePlus 8 Pro. They would be launched via an online pop-up event which would be held in Europe. Pop-Up is basically an event in which consumers can access the products after they are launched by the company. The events are happening online due to lockdown in various countries due to coronavirus pandemic.
The OnePlus 8 series would come with 5G support and the phone's would feature Qualcomm's flagship chip Snapdragon 865. It would also equip 120Hz Refresh rate Display, it is yet to reveal that both the phones will have same refresh rate, it might be only in OnePlus 8 Pro. The OnePlus 8 Pro would also feature 30W fast charging, it will charge phone 50% in just thirty minutes and the phone also includes the support of wireless charging. It would also feature UFS 3.0 storage.
In terms of pricing it was confirmed by OnePlus CEO Pete Lau, that the OnePlus 8 series would be priced less than $1000.
The company might also launch the upgraded version of bullet's headphones, named OnePlus Bullets Z wireless headphones.
Regarding India, due to the lockdown due to coronavirus, the pop-up event might not be held.
