1) To make a screenshot on a mac-
Press Shift + Command + 3 key combination together to take a screenshot on your mac.
2) To capture a portion of the screen or crop a screenshot on a mac-
- In order to capture a portion of the screen, press Shift + Command + 4 key combination together.
- The mouse pointer changes to crosshair, now drag the pointer to select the portion of the screen. In order to move the selection area, press and hold space bar to move across the screen.
- To take to screenshot release the trackpad.
- Now, paste the screenshot from the desktop wherever you want.
3) To capture the full window-
- Press Shift + Command + 4 + Space bar together on your mac.
- The mouse pointer will change into a camera icon, the screenshot will be saved.
- If you wish to exclude window shadow, press and hold option key along with Shift + Command + 4 + Space bar + Option key together.
