When someone hears the term drone, the only things that pop in their head are videography, defense, or maybe just ‘3 Idiots’. Drones are not just confined to videography, it has much more to bring on the table. Man’s fascination for something that flies, isn’t something new. But the question is why drone? Why do we even need a drone? Is the camera person not sincere enough in his duty that we need a drone? At what all places were we lacking that we need a drone? In mining, the quality of material plays a very vital role. In addition to that, going inside a newly dug mine is quite risky since it may have the presence of some dangerous and unhealthy gases. Drones designed with special sensors can be used to detect the presence of any treacherous gases.

Telecommunication

Examining the status of a telecommunication tower is way too risky for a person with a beating heart. The cables he/she might touch might offer him a voltage shock to be remembered forever. Drones can easily replace the human effort there to inspect the correct flow of current making it danger-free and less time-consuming.
